What an amazing feeling this is to have completed C25K! A lot of determination goes a long way. I just need to keep this up. I had one main reason for doing this. I mentioned in my first post that i lost my mum very suddenly early this year. She was 52 which is no age. I owe it to her and my children to stay fit and healthy so i will continue this journey and build on what I've achieved so far. Thank you so much to everyone who has given me supportive comments in this group, this really has been an amazing journey. Good luck to everyone still on the journey and to those who are about to graduate.

Awww congratulations MDaw! 👏👏🎉🎉 I’m so very sorry to hear about your mum, but you’ve done her proud and she’ll have been cheering you on. ❤️
Good for you for being determined enough not only to start the programme in the first place, but to have smashed it. Very well done you! 👍💪😀👏🎉🍾🏅
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! Absolutely smashed it! You should be sooo proud of yourself! Can’t wait to see where your running feet take you (I’m coming for graduation tonight)! Well done 😊💥🥂👏🏻🥇
Congratulations! You've been so savvy and pro-active and it is great to see you getting to this achievement. Your Mum would be so proud! Enjoy using your new skill!

Keep running, keep smiling.
Thank you very much. How do I show that I'm now a graduate on here?
If you drop your username down here, your badge should hopefully magically turn up healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Massive congrats MDaw!! So sorry to hear about your mum, what you've done here though is more than a fitting tribute. I had similar reasons too with my dad being hospitalised with a heart valve infection for about 3 months last christmas. Giving yourself a healthy fit lifestyle and being an inspiration to your children is something you should be very very proud of, very very well done Graduate! 👨🎓
Thank you so much for your lovely words...they mean a lot! Well done on your own graduation. I don't know about you but I'm celebrating tonight with plenty of gin ha ha
Congratulations on your graduation and finishing strong!! I am so sorry about your loss. I lost my mom two years ago and it is still tough. I think they would both be proud of us! Cheers!! 👏🏻👏🏻🥂
A Fantastic effort, great work and for an excellent reason too! I started running last year at the age of 47 after feeling knackered chasing my boy up the stairs. That brought it home to me that being seriously unfit may have been contributory factors to my Dad passing away at 60 and his Father at 57.
On a more cheery note you'll love the new lease of life that running brings, I've never looked back and the continued support of all on here will keep you on track!
Sorry to hear of their passing, it's never easy no matter how long ago it was. Thank you for your supportive comments, I fully intend to keep this going as you're right it does bring a new lease of life. Just need some proper running shoes now that don't cost the earth....putting them on my list to Santa ha ha
You are an inspiration. Be proud of yourself that’s an amazing achievement during tough times. I bet your family are be really proud of you. You are a star.
