I have two runs to catch you up on, neither very interesting.
The problem I'm having all the time now is asthma. It wasn't an issue all summer, but now it is a real pain. My legs feel good, my heart feels good, but my breathing is a struggle from start to finish, even slow jogging. I have recently been prescribed a stronger inhaler, but even that isn't doing the trick. The only thing I can really think of is to do more walking and less running, which is upsetting as I was very happy with the running until the Autumn woes arrived.
Heigh ho.
Happy running all...

I'm sorry you're having difficulty. I don't have asthma but I know it should be taken seriously so your idea of slowing down and walking a bit more makes sense to me. Don't push too hard. For me, I'm doing this for myself and am not interested in competing with anyone else. I just want to get stronger and fitter. I wish you well.
Take it easy as long as you get out and do something that's good to keep up your fitness and help your mental health, be nice to look forward to trudging though the leaf fall.
I am struggling at the moment and it's upsetting. I worked so hard to be able to run, and now although I have built the overall fitness, I can't! Well, to a point I can, but going backwards is tough.
Maybe have a chat with your doctor and see what they think...I find the most annoying thing about asthma is that it's a catch 22 - my running has improved my asthma but only becuase running causes asthma that helps lungs learn how to cope with asthma!
Hmmm might take some time to adjust to the cold air? You could try a light neck warmer that pulls up over your mouth - that worked wonders for me when skiing!
I've tried, but it makes me feel panicky which doesn't help breathing. I'm now considering dipping back into the C25K programme to see at what point the problems kick in. If nothing else it keeps me going out and moving.
So sorry that you’re having problems with your asthma that are preventing you from running. As you say, all you can do is go out ready to take it slowly and then walk if necessary. Roll on the spring!
It's not great, but not giving up entirely. Had a lovely brisk walk by the Derwent Reservoir on Sunday with no 2 son Tom, wondering about attempting some Jeffing today but it's freezing and pouring. Rain I can handle, but cold isn't good. Let's see if it warms up later...
