Running while carrying accessories

I'm new here so not sure about this. I have been running for a while now and I like to listen to music whilst running (takes the edge off the pain). Sometimes I feel that I am more carrying shopping rather than running with arm band for phone, bag for keys / gels, light, gloves, not all my tops have reflectors so I have a reflection strap and the shoe lights. I guess question is does anyone have any tips on reducing load. Especially going into the Winter I feel it's going to get worse.

Hello, I use a flipbelt to carry phone, small water bottle, keys (on a special clip), face mask (just in case). It’s like a Lycra waistband with slots in. My credit card goes in the zip pocket on shorts and leggings.

For long distance runs (over 10k) I have a hydration vest which has lots of pockets for edible goodies, water bladder or water bottles, and everything you could possibly need.

Yes you can fit that in too. I’d break it into chunks before the run though 😂

A hydration vest is way better than any belt especially if need to carry that much stuff? I just buy shorts and leggings with big pockets for anything like phone. I have a key safe on the side of my house. Don’t need to carry keys. Might need a gel or two on a long run. Phone fits in pocket. I never wear gloves.

I bought this......amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08...

OK it doesn't address the water bottle issue but I don't need water for my runs at the moment. Fits my door keys, a few coins or a note, phone and/or ipod ... and comfortable to wear to the point that I am not aware of it at all around my waist.

If you're still doing cto5k you don't need gels or water or food. Just your phone really. I always take a couple of tissues and water for long runs (over an hour only). I use a belt and that carries everything I need, even on very long runs. The belt has a much for a small soft water bottle which I bought in decathlon. Unless you're running half marathons of more, you don't need to take much with you. My belt has a long strap so if I get too hot I can tie things I take off to the strap.

Thanks for the replies guys, issues I have is that a bum bag pulls on my stomach which ultimately makes me hunt for a toilet (not the best option at the moment) , I do run longer distances so would like a phone on me just in case, I live on a hill so most of the time I drive before I run and I suffer from Raynaud's syndrome so my hands are cold a lot. Prime example I was running my a running group yesterday and half way around took my gloves off which I than had to carry. Can't really see anything out there so may look to see if I can design something myself. You may see me on the Apprentice or Dragon's Den lol.
