Running while abroad

This is my second time through c25k and have just completed w5r2. However for the next two weeks I am away on business travel. I have already check that both hotels I will be staying in have treadmills, although I have been running outside I don’t fancy doing that somewhere I am not familiar. So my question is. Should I continue with the program and use the treadmill OR repeat the run I have just done until I return home and then tackle run 3

If it were me, I would carry on and run with the program. I would also do it outdoors. Even if I had to find a park to run in. Whatever you decide, keep on keeping on. :-)

Carry on but set the treadmill to a 1% incline 👍🏽

Carry on with the programme. When you get to the hotel, check out the area and ask at reception about places to run. If it's not safe or you don't feel comfortable, use the hotel gym. Tourist running is really great fun!

Running tourism is one of the highlights of this whole running thing! I Pore over google maps on business trips, planning my running routes, but I usually ask in the hotels if the area is safe. So, if at all possible I would run outside - it’s a whole new world out there. Otherwise the treadmill it is!

Another vote for running tourism. The hotel will have requests every day from runners who stay in their hotel. Most probably they will have a recommended 5km route. Now you can be that person everyone in the hotel reception sees coming out of the lift in their running gear, and confidently heading out the doors for a run :-)

The best runs are those in new and unfamiliar places...........I don't mean on new and unfamiliar treadmills.

Just carry on with the programme. Why stop the momentum?

Depends where you are going! i travel l a lot and even though the scenery is quite spectacular sometimes it is not safe! i think parkruns are a UK thing (happy to be corrected)? during my c25k i had to revert to the boring treadmill. good luck.
