Needed to get out to clear my head don’t know if I wasn’t paying attention to my speed but my shins started to hurt straight away was not my best run rest day today try again tomorrow

Did you complete run 2 this morning? If so don’t run tomorrow. Give yourself a full days recovery especially if you have an injury. Maybe best to monitor the pain and have a couple of days rest. You don’t want to aggravate said niggle and be out any longer than necessary.

No I did the run last night x

The pain was only while I was running which is why I think I wasn’t pacing myself right

Maybe you just need to slow down then. Nice and steady does it as it is really frustrating being out with an injury.
