A bit of a reality check today, maybe I was a touch overconfident or maybe the weekend of boozing and eating crap really caught up to me! Today was a struggle from start to finish.... But I did finish 😁 I felt slow, overweight, out of breath and pain but still finished!
Il attach the data photo as I don't run as slow as I felt I ran in my head it was so much worse 🤣
Conditions were decent, a few good mornings to dogwalkers as I went, one friendly dog decided it wanted to leap up at me 🤣 big fella too I nearly ended up in the bushes 🤣
Clean eating now the rest of this week and also no more booze for the rest of October!
Good luck all the runners today!

Hey well done for getting out there and completing your run! Me too, though I found this morning's run "ok", my knee was a bit niggly which made me run a bit more cautiously but 10mins in, I was on it and was happy to be out moving. I saw the physio on Sat and I think the after effects are still making themselves known Anyway, another 25mins in the bag.. Still so chuffed I'm running 25 MINUTES NON-STOP..wow.
I feel your pain with the whole "day after the big weekend" thing, I've noticed that, any drinks the day or night before really can impact a run the next day!! ugh.. Not a bad pace you had there so you did good. Onto run 2!
