First run in over 2 weeks☹️🤒

Have been under the radar recently as first on the injury couch and then the sickness couch but finally got out and broke the deadlock. Just an easy jog for 3.5K but at least I turned my legs over and felt I could have gone on to 5K for my Weekly Virtual run. Onward and upward and pleased I can still run and don't have to go back in the program🏃😁

Yes, it gets in your head if you don't run but it's good to know you don't forget how to do it 👍

Good news that you are on you’re way onwards and upwards 😊

No V5k for me this week as I’m also on the IC. My ankle has been troubling me for a couple of weeks but hadn’t stopped me running. After a hectic week at work on my feet it is sore even before running so I’m doing the sensible thing and RICE- ing it.

The weather in the Midlands this weekend made it a much easier decision 🌧 🌧

😂😂

Happy ‘careful’ running!

Yes thanks and you take it easy too 👍Might be worth strapping your ankle up with a crepe bandage to give it a bit extra support 🤔

Yes thanks 👍🏻 I’ve got an ankle, arch support on it now but it doesn’t really go with the work dress and shoes 🥿😂

That's great, especially after the double whammy. I am currently on the injury couch and it could be a few weeks although I am able to do some walking so can at least keep my legs going a bit.

Sorry to hear you're on the IC too. It's frustrating but no good running when you're not up to it either☹️
