Have been walking on the treadmill at the gym for a few months but to scared to run incase I fell flat on my face and made a tit of myself! Decided to do couch to 5k in the great outdoors. Just completed my first run without incident 😊.

Well done. I was the same on a treadmill at first, just used it for walking, then when I started C25K I ran outside. As you’d have to keep adjusting the treadmill speed in the early part of the program, outside is best to start. As you work up to longer runs you can work out your speed and then set the treadmill to that especially as the weather changes in a couple of months. Good luck!

Glad there wasn’t an injury 😂

Good job getting that first run done and conquering some demons. Enjoy the rest of your journey. You can do this.

Anyway, I thought you got knocked down and got up again?

I’d avoid the vodka drink, and the whisky drink before the run though 😂

We’ll be singing, when you’re winning.

Unless we suffer from long term memory loss, I can’t remember.
