This one was tougher than the first, I guess that’s the same for everyone - still a little stiff after the first run. It was raining as well but if you start letting things stop you “oh the house is on fire” you’ll never complete the program. Listened to Eminem tonight, last time it was the Misfits soundtrack. I might need to change the narrator though there’s a limit to how often you can hear Sarah Millican saying “you’re doing greeet!” 😂

Week 1 - Run 2
I also use Sarah 🤣 she's got me this far and I'm sticking with her until the end 🤣 well done on the run, it does get easier I promise! And harder... 😂Its weird but you will end up really enjoying it. I couldn't wait to get up this morning to go run for a solid 25 mins, when the hell did my life change so much?! 😂 Laid in bath now healing my achey knee already thinking about where to run next.
Keep it up!
I like Michael and as he would say “you’re doing really well”. Keep up the good work x
Well done. Just wait until the end of week two. You'll be amazed at how much easier it feels and how much more quickly you recover.
Great attitude, keep it up!

Nice work, the first week is the hardest as it's so alien. I couldn't listen to music, still can't, it's funny podcasts all the way for me.
Well done.
Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow, as recommended in the guide to the plan.
Many people do not hold their stretches for long enough or put enough effort in. Hold post run stretches for 30 seconds and make sure the pull is strong enough to be on the verge of discomfort.
Well done Pr0 - you're over the hardest part now. Trust the programme and you'll surprise yourself.
I started with Sarah, but got a bit fed up with her woodenness, and switched to Jo.
