This evening I completed W7 R3 and though I am still very slow, for the first time I felt like a proper runner. Since the children have gone back to school and mum's taxi service has resumed, combined with the evenings drawing in, I have found it hard to find a time that works for my runs. There have been more 2 day gaps than I would have liked and toomany runs where I have gone off too fast because I have felt pressed for time, with the inevitable consequence of not completing the full 25 minutes. But tonight.......I ran my 4th 25minute run, in the wind and rain and failing light and truly enjoyed it. Unfortunately the C25K app doesn't work well here due to patchy phone signal but I set Run keeper going and found that I didn't look at it or my watch until I had run for 25 minutes and 3 seconds π Looking forward to the move up to 28 minutes now as I know that I have properly met the 25 minute challenge. So for anyone out there struggling to find motivation in these shorter days, keep going - if I can do it, you can. If it takes you a it longer than the plan time to do a stage, who cares! This is all about you doing it your way π

Well done π sounds as though youβre doing brilliantly well. I remember feeling astonished last week when I realized Iβd run 25 minutes 4 times when only 8 weeks ago I struggled to run for one minute! I donβt worry about speed either, slow and steady wins the race π’π
Good luck with W8, Iβm having to rest up for a couple of days but will be back on it soon π€
