I changed my coach....

I thought I’d add a picture just to show that I do own other tops to run in.

I changed my coach last week and it seems to have really improved my motivation... I’ve moved from Sarah Millican and now I’m using Jo Whiley... I really like Jo she keeps reminding me to think of other things rather than focusing on feeling tired etc.

W6r1- I thought this run would be easier given that I did the last run, but I struggled a bit, I think it may be the sunny the weather/ I started too fast and burnt myself out.

I’ve got to remember PACE MYSELF!!!

Well done with week 6 run 1 Hattie 😁👍

That run often catches people out after the 20 minutes continuous run of week 5 run 3

So the coaches say different things?! 😮

They do :) I’m glad I’ve mixed it up.

I wasn't a massive fan of Jo in my ears and always to change to Sarah but kept Jo as wanted to finish it with her. I like Jo anyway but didn't find her that great in the app.

Well done on starting this week and I think I had the same thought as you (it being easier compared to the 20 minute solid) but I think that's where it catches you out but it's nice to feel caught out sometimes as it'll help you remain focused. I was nervous for every run!

Great choice Jo Whiley has a reassuring voice I found, she was my coach throughout C25k. 👍

I've been with MJ since the start. I remember watching him at the '96 Olympics looking like he was from another planet such was his performance.

Hehe... well I defiantly look like I’m froM another planet when I run, but not because I’m fast lol

Well done! I had Jo as my coach and thought she was great. I did something disloyal though - on my week 9 run 3 I ditched the app altogether and just set a timer for 30 minutes!

Very good luck to you and yes, really good idea to remind yourself to start off slow and not push too hard. Good luck!

I also started out with Sarah back in March/April. When I restarted C25K in June I'd heard all Sarah had to say, so switched to Jo. Unlike Sarah, Jo has actually done C25K.

PS. Well done! 👍 You'll know to start off slower next time.
