Morning!

Just returned from a run with my shiny new trainers on... and I’d like to apportion blame onto the running shop for what happened next

I ran faster....

up until today I have been running at a steady 6,5kph pace, increasing to 6,7 on occasion if I had more to give - may seem slow, but to me it was steady and kept me feeling like I could complete the runs.

Yesterday, after getting niggles I went for gait analysis. The helpful chap in the shop set the speed on the treadmill to what he referred to as a “nice steady pace of 7kph”

Guess who set the pace at 7 today... me. I ran 25 mins at this pace too. I had nothing more to give at the end. I covered 3.8km.

The shoes are great btw.

Also, I organised a PT session at the gym. Feeling very inspired at the moment. Thanks C25K 😃

That was a great run and a terrific pace! See how beneficial shopping is? Nothing to do with the legs at all.... 🤣🤣🤣
