Yeah I've got one. Bought it after 4 years of running. Don't use it.

Ha fair enough. It’s meant to loosen the muscle fibres. I’m sure my hands could achieve that too.

Honestly, the eccentric calf raises and heel drops will do more for your stiff calf muscles than any foam roller. YouTube is your friend.

I've got one and used it for sore muscles sometimes, but only after researching what to do quite carefully. They aren't a substitute for good warm ups and proper stretching afterwards though.

Yes! They are amazing and definitely do way more than your hands ever could to release your muscles! Especially down the side of your leg! YouTube is your friend here: youtu.be/v9DC6jcAvss

Go slow and support yourself properly until you get used to using it - enjoy! 🤗

I find support my body weight when doing my calves tricky 😂

You may find it better to keep the foam roller still for a while and breathe out to release the calves. Here’s an another good link for calves:

I thought that little wink meant the video would be something dodgy 😂

I've had several bouts of Achilles/calf injury and now use my roller as part of my warm-up and warm-down stretches. It's not fun to use but I feel as though it helps me for sure.
