Hi folks, I bought a foam roller the other day as I have been having pain in my thigh. Well after a few minutes of pain and hooray I can walk again!!!! Did a gentle 5k tonight and rollered before and after. Thigh much better! Definately recommend these things! Keep running and smiling. 😃😃

Good news Samson !

Have you got a smooth one or ( I cant believe I am asking this :-)) one with knobbly bits on ? :-)

I am seriously considering getting one of these, but not sure which one to go for . I have heard that a rolling pin is good too :-) xxx

knobbly, definitely. There is one called "The Beast" which is very popular, and I can recommend highly.

Mines a smooth one. Not as hard core as Rig's but enough to make a grown woman cry on occasions. Have used the rolling pin too but that was just torment!!! Go for it Pops, you will regret it, but it'll do you good xxx. ;)

Rolling pin is great for the calves and thighs - give it a whirl Poppy. Hips and glutes are impossible to reach unless you have somebody to roll you out with the pin.

I got a smooth one, chep fro Aldi 'cos I didn't know if it would work. It does work, but don't let anyone with a camera near you while you are doing it - it's bound to end in tears. Tears of laughter from the chap holding the camera, and tears of misery for you when they post it on youtube.

Ha ha ! Oh dear , thank you . What goes on between me and my foam roller shall remain a secret never to be told :-) xxx
