Woo hoo 5k acheived

set out in light rain with the dog and set a timer for 30 mins, just finished the warm up walk and the heavens opened oh well am out in it now let's get going i mutter to the dog. I actually don't mind running in the rain but the dog loves the puddles so halfway round things got interesting trying to maintain pace and keep her on track with me. Had to take a slight pause a few times to re tie my shoe lace and let cars past but apart from that when the 30 min bell went I thought I could do a bit more so decided to keep going. As I got close to my street had a quick look at the distance as I knew that if I was close to 5k there was no way I was stopping until I got it and wow 4.7k so down the next street and I hit it finally saw 5k on my app 😀. Walked the 5 min cooldown looking like a crazy lady, soaked through, glasses steamed and covered in rain, and bright red but with a ridiculous grin on my face even stopped to take a pic of the arrival at my front door lol hope the neighbours weren't looking ☺. Checked the stats 5k in 37 mins well chuffed with that 😀
