After only one run with much fitter daughter since June, for a variety of reasons, I finally managed to get out yesterday on a stunning day. Hardly anyone around in my favourite location, and started at week 4 - which turned out to be just right. First two runs were easy but the last one I did start to shuffle a bit, bit pathetic! But haven’t been able to do much exercise the last month, so maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. Roll on tomorrow!

Ah, great job on getting back out there! A nice, cool day really helps. You'll pick that fitness back up in no time - a lot of it is confidence, believe you can and you will. Hope the next run's enjoyable. Happy running
