Lovely day today not a raindrop in sight.... quite enjoyed it although my knee is still playing up a bit. Downloaded some exercises last night to strengthen them so let’s see if that works - I think my body is in shock tbh - as is my mind that I am actually managing to do this... happy Sunday everyone x

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 well done. Did mine earlier too. A bit of light wind and some sun this morning but no rain 😊.

Did think when I was running the first 5 mins how I would managed 20 mins in r3 😱.

Enjoy the rest of your long weekend 😃

Well done. Good luck w knee exercises. I’ve had lower back pain since W5R3 but think might be more to do w trying to move a log in garden afterwards w all the energy the run gave me 🥵

Could be your running shoes. There is a shop in London called Runners Need where they measure your gait (from the treadmill) and give you shoes accordingly. Since I’ve had my new shoes my back pain has eased considerably.

Thanks yes went there last week and bought a pair of Brooks after gait analysis so IMO sincerely hope not!

Fantastic, well done!

Soo good to have the sun back isn’t it?

It was last week that my body started to feel the shock of it all as well.. still achey today but I’m going for it!

Enjoy the rest of your day x

Well done Caroline. When I first started doing the C25K my son who has kindly accompanied me through the whole programme (to encourage me) used to give me an aches and pain check list during the warm up walk. I was like a walking miracle, so many things giving me grief but amazingly I battled on very slowly (often repeating weeks) and since I’ve lost a couple of stone (still 4 to go to get to BMI) I’m doing ok. I can joggle for 30 mins 3 x a week but still have the 5k target to aim at. Good luck - you can do it!!
