Dog walked first so I had no guilt running through woods seeing dog walkers. I ran for 5.15km in 33 minutes second time I have done this. I have found not I am so stuck on what time I am doing it’s easier. Starting the magic plan next week and feel ready.

I have the opposite as I ran early without the dog (too old to run with me) so had to suffer the sad look as I left her, she is now sat here waiting for her walk! Great time and distance for your run!

I actually can’t believe I am now running and enjoying it. Charlie my dog makes me feel guilty when he sees me put my trainers on. Have you done the magic plan?

Likewise, never thought I would enjoy running. My dog (Poppy) can’t wait for me to get back from running as she is addicted to sweaty legs ! As soon as I get home she can’t stop licking my legs, to the point where she has this strange glazed look in her eyes, it’s now a race to the shower after my runs !

Starting the magic plan next week, but did manage to run my first 10k this morning ..... which I can now feel in aching legs !!!

You sound ready to start the Magic Plan. I completed the timed version first and am now half way through the distance version of the plan. It is a great plan and the support over on the Bridge to 10k forum is great too. Good luck!

Thank you, I know this might sound stupid but how do you access the plan? How does it work? I put my name down and have been accepted.

Go to the pinned posts in the Bridge to 10k and "click see all" All the pinned posts open on the left of the screen, just scroll down to find "The Magic Plan Information Station" post. All the information about following either the timed or distance versions of the plan is there, plus a sheet that you can download and print off to log your progress. There is a video clip as an introduction to the plan and further clips through the weeks if you need them. Ask away if you have any other questions.

Also, follow Jo-Jo as she is starting a magic plan 10k group with the first run on Sept 4th, think the plan will be posted over on the bridge to 10k forum. You could message Jo-jo if you want to be included.
