Do you have any advice about distance apps please? I have both Fitbit and Runkeeper. Both conflict massively. I’m very new to running and am currently on week 9 run 1. I’m not sure how to gauge my distance so I can work on that in the weeks ahead. Many Thanks 😊

Distance Apps
Any GPS device is only as good as the GPS unit.
Older phones are generally less accurate and some Fitbits are not GPS enabled.
If you have a good GPS unit in your device then there will only be minor differences between apps.
A dedicated running watch will generally give more accurate results but even these can be glitchy on occasions.
It probably doesn't matter what you use if it gives consistent results for the same route.
Thank you for taking the time to reply that’s good to know 😊
Just realised you are a new poster....... welcome. Have you read the guide to the plan? healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
I downloaded the free version of Strava onto my iPhone at the start of C25k and it was fine. The GPS dipped out ocassionally with some hilarious results (it gave me some amazing Olympian times and distances that I'll never be capable of!).
I treated myself to a Garmin 45s running watch during consolidation when I realised I'd been bitten by the running bug and now use it to track my runs as I work towards 10k.
