so, I graduated Couch to 5K last Monday, followed with a run on the Wednesday, however, since then, nothing!
I know i was busy on the Friday, Sat & Sun, but apart from the weather being atrocious, I just can't get motivated. When I had the program to follow, I was determined to do it and rain didn't stop me.
I have trouble sleeping, so can't wake early enough to go in the morning, so am an evening runner .
Any advice gratefully received

I graduated Monday too, definitely harder to motivate yourself when you’re not working towards a goal! So my advice would be, find a new one! I am aiming for two 30 minute runs and a 5K run a week at the moment, and have taken Jo with me on my first two post grad runs and that definitely helps to have some familiarity so you don’t feel so lost! Good luck, and read the posts on here when you feel unmotivated, I always find they keep me on track!
Some people thrive on doing their own thing and making their own plans. Some people prefer the structure of a ready-made plan. It sounds like you're in the second group.
Find another goal with a worked-out programme and go for it.
My initial plan (once my legs have recovered from my graduation run) is to do half an hour of running as slowly as I can, trying to keep my heart rate in the lower zones.
I may then do what another runner here has done, and use the timings of C25K Week 1 and do faster running when it asks for a run and slow running when it asks for a walk.
I'd not come across using restarting the programme with sprints for runs and slower running for the walks as a way of following on from C25K.
Do we know how that worked out for whoever mentioned it?
For the solid periods of running from W6R3 onwards, I've been running FitoTrack in parallel to C25K, with FitoTrack set to announce time/distance/pace at set intervals.
The thinking behind this was that, after three weeks of that and the end of the C25K progamme, I'll have become sufficiently familiar with gauging runs by FitoTrack announcements instead of the C25K app.
I'll find out next week how that works out. I will definitely miss Laura's gently encouraging, dulcet tones.
The monthly Consolidation Club healthunlocked.com/couchto5... is there for new graduates to help them formulate plans and routes forward, because so many find the post graduation period quite difficult.
Pop in, see what others are doing and ask for specific help.
Presumably you started C25k for some reason other than wanting to follow a training plan, so ask yourself how you are going to achieve those aims.
I'd always thought about couch to 5K, but it was during lockdown I decided to start, never had any aims to be honest. Don't want to stop, just liked the routine & encouragement, now I don't have that.
Thank you for taking the time to respond, that's really useful.
Having been thinking about what comes next after graduation and consolidation, and factoring in your comments about the interval work, I think focusing on distance covered might be the way forward for me.
Thanks again and best of luck with your 12th November goal and the Anglesey half-marathon next year.
The Nike Run Club app is great, it’s free and has a wide selection of runs, each with a coach to offer encouragement and advice as you run. C25k is structured the completion of each week being your goal. So you now need to set yourself your own goals, aim for a 5k personal best, or increase your distance etc....,good luck with whatever you decide to do 👍
