Running mojo back πŸ€” ....I really hope so!

I completed the c25k a little while ago and really enjoyed the consolidation weeks following.

I loved going for my run in the mornings and then life after lockdown became a reality and I didn't adjust very well. My runs became less and less. I was finding excuses not to go out. I still wanted to run but didn't if that makes sense? 🀣

Well, I gave myself a good talking to and got myself back out there this week. Just a couple of short, steady runs and just had a run for 30 mins this morning. It felt amazing. I realised that I had let go of why I started the c25k in the first place.

Obviously I wanted to get fitter and the challenge was great (I'm quite competitive, even with myself 🀣) but ultimately it was for the headspace, mental health benefits. I got so caught up with times, distances and speed the runs became something different.

So, back to basics and I feel much happier about my runs again.....phew lol...and my head is once again a serene place πŸ€£πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜

Happy running everyone
