Any recommendations for a good running app. I have tried Strava but it keeps 'losing' me mid run therefore the stats are incorrect.

I have never had any problems with Mapmyrun, you could try that, you can also have Mapmywalk for walking and if you cycle Mapmyride.

I find my stats are off whatever I use because the gps on my mobile phone isn't really up to it.

Good excuse to upgrade to a watch if I make it to week 9!

Going to try mapmyrun app but I like your idea of a smart watch. I am on week 7 ATM so I will treat myself to one when I finish c25k. Will have to research watches in a few weeks methinks.

If you are getting dodgy stats then it is far more likely that the GPS unit on your phone is suspect, rather than the app.

I use Runkeeper as it can be programmed with intervals.

Thanks. If I still have problems with runkeeper I think your advice re the phone could be correct. Then it would be time to look for a smartwatch

I have a Samsung Galaxy watch and app on my phone (not a Samsung phone) which is great. Shows you a map of route together with other stats. Only seems to show last 30 days but as I keep a running journal it's not an issue

Hi. What app do you use?

Samsung Health which is linked to my watch. Watch sends the data to the app

Thanks. Will have a look at that app. Maybe a new watch on the horizon.

It is a great watch with lots of features over and above the health and fitness.
