I also have an Android Smartphone, I use Mapmyrun for runs and Mapmywalk for walks, I have never had any problems with either.

Tip, I find that if I use Mapmywalk for runs it works fine and tells me how many steps I have ran, Mapmyrun doesn't tell you how many steps you have ran. Try both, I don't think that you will be disappointed. 😊

I favour Runkeeper, because you can programme intervals into a workout.

Depends what you want it to do.

Strava for sharing runs.

Runkeeper for intervals

Nike+ Run Club for free race plans and in ear coaching.

MapMyWalk run for sharing routes and discovering new ones.

And hundreds more that probably excel at different things.

Most offer premium features too in which case the differences disappear a little.

Thanks for all your tips forgot to mention need one that runs along with C25k also my music and tells you in your ear piece how many k's you've done.

If you have a Fitbit the app has the ability to track runs/walks/biking and works along side music and c25k.

Need an app that tells me from the ear piece how many k's I have done.

Mapmyrun does that. You can change the intervals too

Strava does what you need. It tells you each km or half k and then the time for that k which is quite useful motivation I find. Works with C25K, Amazon music or Google Play. You can also plot runs on a map and see how far they would be.

I use mapmywalk but with it set to run. Have that, C25K and my music all going at the same time. Good luck
