To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, I had to stop at 14-15 minutes in don't know what happened I just couldn't continue, I didn't go to fast , kept a good pace slow breaths in and out just couldn't continue the full 20 minutes. Think I will repeat wk5 or just r3 until I can run for 20 minutes ☹☹☹

So approximately 6 weeks l bet you struggled to run for 1 minute? Now your disappointed because you “had to stop at 14-15 minutes”? You’ve achieved so much since that initial run. It’s easy to reflect on what we think we should achieve rather than what we have. We can all have off days/runs. Chalk this one up as a practice run. Have your rest day then go bag this run. You’ve got this👍🏻

Thanks, I was disappointed when I came back from that run and wrote that post but I've calmed down now and realised that I am doing really well and will be able to do that run without stopping . My running days are mon, wed and fri so I will try again. 😊😊😏

That’s some 14 minutes or so better than September! That’s nice progress and today’s run makes you stronger and fitter... personally I’d only repeat the run... bet you got 18-20 next time out!

Ok thank you , yes I'm going to continue to repeat r3 until I get 20 minutes. Also I've been running on a red ash track which was great for the interval runs but I think now I'm going to run on the pavements different scenery maybe help😊😊

Hey buddy! it sounds like today just wasn't your day to run. Some days are just like that. hold your head up high because that's the longest you've ever run for consistently. You'll smash it next time :)

Well done on what you have achieved so far - one blip does not a "failure" make. Deep breath, draw line & tomorrow (or day after, remember to take a break) go again. Good luck on your journey!
