First 3 intervals I was like, yeahhhh I got this. Then, wallop, bosh, kazam 🥊
The final 3 intervals, I was quite literally begging for the line. Clambering over it like a sloth over a branch. Pleasssssse Michael, tell me to stop. I beg you kind sir.
Is this ‘normal’ for the start of week 2?!
Thanks!

It’s normal for you x are you going slow enough? Apparently you’re supposed to be able to talk in un gasping sentences whilst
You run x I am slow but I could only manage answers not whole sentence convos lol x
Honestly you will. We all felt like that along the way, I had horrible painful minging hanging runs and good ones too lol x I realised I was trying to go too fast and also hadn’t been drinking nearly enough water the day before x the programme really does work x
Completely normal! Tho your write up does make it sound funny (sorry... just mentally picturing how I looked!... takes me back!)
Just an idea ... why don’t you record a short video and sent it to yourself to keep a record.. I did this with a friend!... so funny watching how much we struggled with week the earlier weeks... it’s actually a nice record to have..
If I can do it then anybody can!
I’m almost 60, probably overweight tho less overweight than I was and I was unfit!
I went into it thinking 60 seconds! Was almost laughing in the face of it! Got my eye wiped! 60 seconds is really a long time! WHY didn’t I know this!? 🤷♀️
In a few weeks you will be wondering why you found it so hard... it’s a revelation!

IN JUST 3 months my life is unrecognisable!
I’ve encountered Gremlins along the way, Competitive Annie in my head, have ran in pretty much every weather going! At times it’s a challenge but the support on here is without a doubt what has kept me going!
This will be your story too!.. I’m telling you.. this plan is magical! It does things to people!!
I read this and think ... yeah but she must have been fit to start with?... absolutely not!... I wish!
It’s completely normal! Be kind to yourself and look how much you have achieved already in just 2 weeks. Trust the programme - don’t look too far ahead and take each run as it comes, you’ve got this 💪🏻
TOTALLY normal. You can 100% do it though. And each tough run is probably more valuable than each easy run, both mentally and physically. Does sound like you might be going a bit quick though. I thought I couldn't slow down any more, but then when I really tried, I could. As long as its the motion of running, it counts. (Also, ignore dad and brother, they're amazing but so are you and you will be able to do this!). From someone who barely managed it in the earlier weeks, but graduated today (!), take it from me. You're going to be GREAT.
Agree with the others that maybe you're running a bit fast. The aim is to get through whilst not gasping or feeling like you're going to collapse 😂 Slow down to whatever speed feels comfortable. That might be slow, but better thsn injuring yourself or feeling they're too tough. Of course it's a challenge, mainly a mental one!
Good luck, try and relax, don't think about your marathon running family members!
Try it the other way round - run the first three as slow as you did the last today, then if you've got a bit left in you near the end you can speed up a bit - it's the time spent moving, not the speed. I swear realising this has made all the difference to me.
You finished the set even though it felt really hard, you still did it. You're doing great!
You have done the run that I found the hardest of the whole programme! I struggled with it, and sat down for most of the rest of the day. W2R2 was a little better, and then the last one of the week was much better, and I didn't look back after that - so you will be fine!
