is it normal to land heavier on one foot than the other... i was consciously concentrating on my walking, and figured my right leg lands harder than my left... meaning that my right thigh aches more than my left.(think I said right and left waaaaay to many times)
Is it something that should concern me??

It's possible that one leg is slightly longer than the other. This is quite common and can be corrected with orthotics. If you're concerned ask your GP for a referral to a podiatrist.
Also it's possible that you've been unconsciously favouring one leg over the other, in which case this will sort itself out eventually. Do remember to do static stretches after the run to help with muscle aches.
As stated by nowster you may have an asymmetry, which is remarkably common, and can be simply corrected by a specialist.
I would recommend doing the knee strengthening exercises in the guide to the plan, which will strengthen all your leg muscles and may help alleviate the issue.
If you notice any asymmetric pains developing in your legs then this is the time to consult your GP.
