I fancied a change of scenery this morning to see if it would help. I seem to spend the first 18 minutes of the run thinking I can’t do it. Iv never stopped so I guess I’m not doin too bad but I’m also not enjoying it as much as I was. Any tips?

Change your music, do some intervals, hope you find the fun in running soon

My family is from Rotherham! Small world! We go to the New York Stadium quite often ⚽️

Definitely vary the routes if you can so it doesn't become routine. Add a hilly bit if your normal route is flat. Choose a flatter route if your normal route is hilly.

I completed Week 8 yesterday. I have been running a different route on each day since Week 7.

If you're listening to music, try a different mix of music, or maybe spoken word or music podcasts.

Thanks! I amazed myself yesterday with what I found myself capable of.

I have found W8 the hardest too, I re-did both run 1 & 2 as couldn't do them first time out and this morning was aiming to do R3 but the wind is so strong it was a nightmare so still to do it! Not giving up though, not putting pressure on myself either, 8 weeks ago I couldn't run 5 x 1 minute sessions!! You will get there, as will I, just be kind to yourself :)
