In week 6 of consolidation runs, like everyone else on this forum I’ve struggled with the heat, humidity and lack of sleep in recent weeks. I’ve missed a couple of runs, and thought maybe I’ve reached my limits for progress. But no! Today I ran my first 5k sub-35 minutes, it was 34.5!! It wasn’t planned, I thank all the advice that says running regularly, getting stronger and fitter, will lead to improvements over time. And checking in here is a huge motivator to get out when I don’t think I can. It’s magic!
