I’m planning on doing my graduation run on Sunday morning. I really can’t believe I’ve got this far. Tomorrow is exactly a year since I had my kidney transplant donated by my twin sister. This time last year I couldn’t walk the length of myself and now I’ve run 5k for both of my last runs. The gradual increase in distance and the gentle encouragement of Sarah Millican was the perfect combo for me - oh and some banging tunes!!
I will be recommending this App to absolutely everyone because I want everyone to feel the health benefits I’ve got from doing it, and also to feel the pride I’m feeling.
I’ve just got to finish it now 😜

Wow, what a year you’ve had Dootamie! Huge congratulations on getting this far- I assume you’ll be letting us know when you’re done so that we can make suitable cheering noises! Your sister must be so proud of what you’ve achieved - and, of course, has been with you every step of the way!
Cracking story, what a great sister and a brilliant legacy you’ve given to her (now your) kidney.
Totally agree about recommending this programme far and wide, I’ve really enjoyed the progression so far. Enjoy the grad run and the warm fuzzy feeling!!
