W8R1 - what a difference 3 degrees make!

So after a tough W7R3 where I almost couldn’t plod on to the end, W8R1 was amazing! Adds to my theory that off days tend to be followed by good runs - anyone else seem to have this?

It was cloudy (I love clouds now! ☁️ ) and just a few degrees cooler than the last few runs and it was SO much better!

I am of course a completely sweaty mess as usual but I genuinely could have run on and I ended on what was (by my standards) a sprint for the last minute. I think this must be what people mean by Runner’s high because I am buzzing!

Good luck if you’re running today and enjoy the slightly cooler breeze!

Joni Mitchell sang, "I've looked at clouds from both sides now." 🌥️

It was SO much better today with the cooler weather! It was drizzling too! Never thought I would enjoy drizzle! 😂

Glad your run went well, and that it ended on a high. Can’t believe how much better it is with the drop in temperature 😃
