I truly thought about not completing this week today but was inspired to get out there with the support in this group.

My run route takes me uphill at the start and then obviously downhill at the end which is a relief - especially in the warm weather today. I also take my dog with me which adds to the fun!!!!

I’m looking forward to the couple of day’s rest - although I’ll still be walking anyway - and feel some trepidation about week 2! But in the meantime- enjoy this glorious weather everyone 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

Congratulations on completing week 1 of C25K, glad that you enjoyed your 1st week running with your dog.

Onwards and upwards to week 2, remember that you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, don't run on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, no harm on taking a few extra days off running before you start week 2, slow and steady is the mantra slogan here on C25K.

Fantastic job πŸ‘πŸ₯³πŸ‘

W1 complete which is particularly impressive in heat some parts of country are experiencing.

Good to rest ... make sure you drink water on rest days - I didn’t realise how important this was but it really does make a difference.

Keep up the good work and feel proud of what you achieving

All the best for W2

You're doing brilliantly. I haven't ran for 2 days, but cycling and walking keep my fitness up. Good luck with the rest of your running journey πŸƒπŸ˜Š
