After thinking I would attempt a new route in a park this morning and realising 5 minutes in that it’s way too uneven and full of thorn bushes down the path, I admitted defeat. First time in the program and on my final run. However, I decided I couldn’t just leave it there and would run my final run tonight which I did! I managed just over 4km which I was so pleased with and then after the 30 minutes I did a combo of walk / run to the 5k mark.
This forum has been amazing! I haven’t posted much but I have read A LOT of posts! Everyone’s posts have been so helpful on my challenging days and have kept me motivated to finish.
Also, as someone who doesn’t really have any hobbies, completing the program is a big achievement for me. I have been recommending the program to everyone I know who don’t run!
