Feeling pretty wrapped to have got that one ticked off and out of the way. Like most people, the escalation of the plan seemed daunting and I was very nervous about this one.
When I woke up, I tried my hardest to give myself excuses "does my calf still feel tight from the last run? Should I wait?." "It's already a bit hot, maybe I should wait"
Went out in the end, and whilst it wasn't pretty it was 20 minutes and I feel like, for the first time I really 'trust the program'
I think the run was the hardest I've done mentally, in that there is so long at a single pace it feels a little relentless, and you definitely have thoughts of 'I don't know if I'm going to make it, or... I've done so well already, maybe I stop here and try again next time.
Physically though, it was nowhere near as bad as I thought, legs and body feel fine and as much as I got slower through out, I certainly wasn't panting on the side of the road.
(I am looking forward to two more interval runs next week though)
