20 min post-graduate run

I posted earlier in the week about feeling rubbish for "only" running 20 minutes after graduating 2 days earlier. People on here helped me reframe to - "achieving" 20 minutes and not being too hard on myself...

Fast forward to today - it's already really hot at 7am, felt really tired - so enjoyed running for 20 minutes, knowing that I'll run longer some days and not other days. Enjoying a shorter run, for me, is much better than being cross at myself for not managing a longer run!

(Ideally I want to be able to run 5k, having only got to 4.6k during the programme, but that's a long term goal!)

Thank you for all your support!

Gosh I can relate to that. Managed 30 minutes early this morning but felt deflated that I couldn't run for 5k = about 40mins. It was hot 🔥 but I was still cross. Kept saying to myself you ran for 30 minutes. Just coming out of my sulk now 🤣🤣
