Hi: Hi all - just started c25k this week - first... - Couch to 5K
Hi
You deserve to be very proud of yourself, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 1, glad you are enjoying your running, remember that you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water the to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, onwards and upwards to week 2.
Thanks for this advice...i was thinking to do another week 1 run before moving onto week 2. The dilemma i have is that due to work and other commitments i can do a run tomorrow (friday) but i wont be able to run again until the following thursday - so should i do a further week one run next week before moving onto week 2? I guess what im asking is - is week 2 a lot tougher that week 1??
Week 1 is 8/1 minute runs with 7/90 second walking breaks, week 2 are 7/90 second runs with 6/1 minute walking breaks I think, the reason for that is I am rerunning them after I ran 10 miles last Wednesday just for a bit of 5K interval training, its up to you if you wish to repeat at least ONE RUN of week 1 before you go onto week 2, the main thing is that you run all the runs slowly 👍🏃🏾
