Hi everyone
I’m on week 7 and running 25 minutes but today I’m so exhausted and body aches
Is this normal or does it get better ???

John_W Graduate Ambassador 4 years ago How fast are you running (it should be JOGGING) ?
What are you doing on your rest/recovery/repair days?
How much sleep are you getting?
How well do you hydrate? (Your pee should be clear and light in colour)

On the other hand, if you're peeing every hour on the hour you might have overdone it. 🤣
As with everything, a sudden change of habits can take the body a bit of time to react to.

It’s my first week running 25 minutes non stop

I am jogging not running because I’m very slow. I’m having rest days on between. Sleeping and drinking well

Ok, rest up. Take it easy and go again tomorrow.

It gets better. I remember bring exhausted after running a couple of km and now I can do 10 miles without a bother really. It just take time for the body to adapt.

Perhaps you need more than one rest day between the longer runs for your body to recover.
