I had a moment today. A moment of pure joy! I was running through the woods (my third week of consolidation) and I was listening to run pod and I actually felt AMAZING for the first time ever I felt like a proper runner 🏃♀️
Not that I didn’t class myself as a runner until today, I did but the joy of the run only ever hit me at the finish line. Today I felt good! The movement and my breathing felt GOOD during the run! I can feel my body becoming stronger and despite being my hilliest run I did my second fastest times on 1k, 1mile and 2mile which I am so happy about as I’ve been injured during my 2nd week of consolidation.
I guess what I’m trying to say is if you are struggling to enjoy your runs.... keep going ! Just keep running!
