I managed w7r3 today. I couldn’t do it the other evening and was so frustrated. Not gonna lie...... I’m not entirely sure I will finish this programme I do find it difficult, but felt so proud today.

Just felt a huge achievement. Really hope I stick with it, think it’s been good for me mentally. 🙏🏻💪🏽🏃🏻‍♀️

Stick with it, I feel it’s given me a focus which right now I’m so grateful for!

Well done, it is hard sometimes, I know. Just think how far you've come already. You can take this at your own pace. . . . . Keep going, you'll get there 😊

Anything worth achieving isn’t easy - don’t think about it just get out there and do your best . Nobody is judging you it’s all good . Keep going it’s a game changer .

I did this yesterday after struggling with run 2. I think we all get bad days. My 20 year old daughters run slowly with me which is a great incentive. If we can do 25 minutes then we can do 28 and then 30. Think positive x

Yeah I know I should. I always think before every run, I don’t think I can do this today.

28 minutes......... it’s nothing!!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️💪🏽🏃🏻‍♂️🤣

I have thought I can't do it every time. I am 56 but feel 18. Age is no barrier. Keep going x

Aah, well done! Stick with it. You’re so close to finishing. Once you’re at week 8 you might as well finish it! Otherwise why even bother starting? At least that was my mind set. You’ve totally got it in you to do this. Keep going!

Of course you'll finish the programme! Tell the negativity gremlins where to go, and get on out there and dance! ;)

I have this run tomorrow. I've struggled with most of them to be honest but I'm glad I've made myself complete them. That sense of achievement after keeps me going. You can do this. Keep it very slow at the start when you're full of energy and slowly increase the pace towards the last 5minutes. That's what I've been trying to do. Only...that increase tends to be in the last 60 sec as opposed to 5minutes lol.

Well done!! 👏👏👏

You will definitely finish it! - promise! And it’s the best feeling ever!

Like you I struggled with the programme but kept going and pushing. Keep going you’ll surprise yourself with your ability to achieve the time and distances. Following the consolidation runs the end of C25K you’ll wonder what all the issues were 😀 -

Try and stick with it. It's a challenge but the sense of achievement at the end is amazing. Week 9 run 3 I smiled all the way. You can do it!

I'm 66 and I finished it last week. Every single time I went out I thought I'll never manage this but I did. I've now done 4 x 30 minute runs and even now I struggle every time but still going strong ( or weak even ! ). You are not competing against anyone. Everyone can"win" this race. Don't give up or you might wish you had kept on going. Having said all that you might need a little running buddy - just someone to spur you on. But this forum is very encouraging as everyone wants each person to do it. Well done for what you've achieved so far!!

Definitely worth persevering, I felt like you, I’m 66 , BMI of 34

Heart arrhythmia and diabetes type 2. Made it through by sheer bloody minded determination but definitely worth it.

Weight down by 5kg since Jan 25 when it was last checked and feeling better, I only managed just over 3k in the 30 minutes in wk 9 but time not distance is the target so go at your own pace but don’t stop if you can manage to motivate yourself

You will get there. I found it was best to try and completely switch off doing the longer runs. The more I thought about how long I had to run, the longer it took! I was way short of 5k by W9R3 but I did have the stamina for 30 mins, a good sound track and a varied route which took my mind off the distance.

I found Week 7 the toughest week. I really struggled with it, psychology and physically. I’m now on Week 8 and coping better with it. We’ve come so far, letter not give up. 👍🏻

I got some game changing advice on here so I'm passing it on as it's making a massive

difference to me actually enjoying the run

Slow down the pace

I have applied this and feel I can go on for significantly longer with each run

Keep at it. Look at what you've achieved

😊 that's one of my running songs (actually it's more of a jog, no let me be honest it's one of my shuffling songs). Keep going you really can, I graduated about 4 weeks ago and I still find it difficult and I'm still slow! I've not been able to finish a couple of times, but whether I run 20 minutes or 30 minutes I always feel great afterwards. You've run 25 minutes 3 times, bet when you get to 20 minutes you think I can't do another 5minutes, but you have! It's funny isn't it that when you have to run that first 20 minutes non stop it's so hard and then when the time is 25 minutes that 20 minutes is (well not easy but) do-able.

You only have to add another 3 minutes next week and you can and you will because you added 5 last time - not once but 3 times. Pretty amazing.

It is a HUGE achievement to run 25 minutes solid. I think when you are in week 8, you ARE more then set up for finishing this... try and push those gremlins away... you can do this!!

Stick with it, it is worth it for both your physical and mental health. It doesn't matter if you need to take a week or two longer to get to the end, the secret is not quitting. I graduated from C25K in Nov 18 and I have continued running (though I am currently prohibited from running due to a hip injury). When I started 2 years ago I thought I would never do it and whilst I am still slow, I like getting out 3 times a week. I wish you continued success with the program,
