I cannot believe I am coming to the end of week 9!! I would never ever of believed it 9 weeks ago, yet here I am running for 30 minutes. I still huff and puff but I can actually do it! I think I can see the glimmer of that shiny graduation badge up ahead...
Who is graduating with me this week?
I think I will do my final run at Parkrun Saturday morning, good luck to everyone else on their runs! Xx

We're coming! I'm a tad nervous about entering the world of post graduation though, what will I do without Sarah? How have you been finding it ejvcruns ?
I've done one run since. I'm keeping to my pattern of every other day. If I were staying home I'd gradually lengthen my distance to 35 mins, then do two 20 min runs with a short walk break, and finally aim for five km continuous, somewhere between 40 and 45 mins for me. Then I might do two runs a week shorter with intervals plus the longer 5k on weekends. Right now I'm totally puffed at 32 minutes at a pace of 8:40. I'm still using my zombie app, I can set the mission duration.
Next week I go to high altitude, I'm going to do the zombie 5k training programme there, kind of take a step back and acclimate. But 3x a week, never miss two workouts in a row I think is key. No couch sliding. Beach body next summer!!!
Your all al wk ahead of me due to a mini health blip I lost a week ... I would be finishing this weekend too 😢 . With you all the way and will take inspiration from your final run posts .
Good luck everyone - your / we are amazing 🏃♀️🏃♀️
Thank you I had a set back too and the programmes taken me around 11 weeks to complete I think, but it's the getting there that counts not how long it takes! keep us posted next week so we can celebrate with you 🎉🎉🎉
I too have just one more run to do. I have a choice of two routes:
1. Old faithful flatty where I clocked 5k in 28:19 for run one or
2. New one with The Hill which I did for run 2 with 29:39 for 5k
Either way I am so happy to have got this far after several years of continuous irritating health niggles, operations and monster migraines. Sounds like I am doing my speech already - getting a bit ahead of myself here, I haven't done that third run yet!!
Gosh those are amazing times! I would pick whichever one you feel happiest doing, and it sounds like you will zoom round either! I'm Looking forward to seeing that graduation speech!
