Thinking of buying new shoes. The ones I use now are ok, still comfortable but starting to wear. Doing W6R3 Saturday so I know its continuous runs from now on. So is it the right time to change to new shoes or should I stick with what I know until I complete c25k?

I changed shoes at W5R2 - I think it's better to do it now rather than later so your shoes are correct for you whilst running. If I would have continued with my ones I would have been on the injury couch for quite a bit, because mine had 0 support. Plus I believe that new shoes give you new running powers 😂

I changed mine at week 7 and that was a smart move for me- love the new ones, only use them for running 🏃‍♀️

If your shoes are wearing, take note of where they're wearing. Uneven wear might point at problems with your technique, eg. heel striking or pronation.
