First run after an injury

6 and a half weeks ago whilst out running my left calf decided to go pop for the second time. Left it to heal until Wednesday then thought I’d give it a try. My local park here in Eastbourne is 2.2 miles long on tarmac and some concrete stuff. Shinewater park for anyone who lives in Eastbourne and is looking for a nice place to run. They held a park run here every Saturday before Covid. Anyway ran with a calf brace just to be on the safe side. I managed to run for about 15 minutes before my breathing was all mucked up. Gonna give it another try today see if I can get a bit further.
