I was slightly dreading this run today after really feeling W8R1 was a max effort affair two days ago (plus - it’s raining!).
So I popped on here first thing to read some inspiring posts and to look at my previous posts for a reminder of how far I’ve come and how close I am to graduation.
My last few runs I’ve got a stitch about half way which bugged me for the latter half. Today I dropped my pace right down (felt super slow) so I could remind myself to breath better/properly and keep a check on my posture (I’ve also been experiencing upper right side back/neck/shoulder pain) ....
It worked! No stitch! No feeling the need to walk! Powered through and feel good!

well done - & that's still a really good pace. If I have an average run under 7min/k then I'm happy. and that's all running, so if you are averaging that with walking for 5mins start and finish then that is really quick. I'm at the stage too where I'm thinking about posture and trying to make sure my foot is under my centre of gravity when it strikes the floor - been reading about how to run efficiently as I didn't really get on with Laura's (podcast wk 2) advice to heel strike 1st when running - felt a bit weird. Hopefully you'll stat stitch free now and enjoy your final few runs. Good Luck
