W6R1 Squirrel Wars

Well just got back from the W6R1 and have to say it went well apart from taking a wrong turn in the forest and ending up having a stand off with two Squirrels who refused to let me pass. Had to slow my pace half way through the second run. I felt myself going to fast but another one done 🙂

I am running on Thursday next with my run 2 😀 doing Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. How about you? Do you have a set days for running?

Normally mon, wed & sat. But this week because of work its tues, thur & sat. 👍

I run in the woods and there are lots of (grey) squirrels. They usually keep away but occasionally you can meet a really feisty one that mostly just makes a lot of noise. The real trouble happens when other people feed them.

Congrats on week 6 run 1 btw - that one has a reputation for catching people out.

Well done, another run under your belt. And that despite the best efforts of the squirrels 🐿 🤣

On my last run in some heathland I saw a cat who got really irritated because I scared off a rabbit! I love seeing the wildlife 😄
