W6R3 - a kind sibling to W6R1

Just ran (shuffled) for 25 minutes! Okay, so not the exhilaration of W5R3 (where I must admit, a small tear was shed), but a welcome mental and physical come back from the first run of this week which was horrible. Week 6 - you are a strange one, with your uncomfortable beginning, but you ended well. Here's to Week 7 (which starts on Wednesday, just to be confusing).

Yeah those pesky intervals make for a strange week but you’ve seen them off now and it’s straight running .... all the way to that 🏁- have fun! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃🏻

Well done on completing week 6! I completed w6r3 today as well so am also being confusing and starting w7 on a Wednesday 😂

I found w6r1 really tricky too! It's a strange one isn't it because I thought after running 20 minutes, two 5 minute and an 8 minute run with walking in between would be a doddle, but no such luck!

Good luck with w7 on Wednesday. You'll smash it! :)

You too. Might be a good thing to start a new week mid-week as the transitions seem less obvious? I tell myself any old nonsense just to keep going. Enjoy Wednesday.

Thank you. Was waiting to hear Laura say the 'r' word - shuffler might be more apt, but let's not quibble🤣

When I was doing C25K Wednesday was the first day of my new "running week" Saturday and Monday were the other running days right up to the Monday I graduated.

You are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER by completing run 3 of week 6, congratulations, onwards and upwards to week 7 on Wednesday. 😊 🏃🏾

Well done for reaching the end of week 6!! That’s so great!! I’m about to embark on week 6 and the thought of intervals again after the 20 minute run in week 5 seems quite nice..... may I ask why you hated it so much?

Because I was cocky and set off too fast on the first run. It felt the most difficult run so far (my own fault). I made sure R2 was very slow and it was fine, so R1 was a good lesson learned🤣

Hahaa! Ok, good point! Il be sure to pace myself for those first 2 runs!!

Brilliant!... and no more of those walk intervals that pretend to be your friend!....

Week 7 here you come!... So well done!

Yes indeed. Never thought I'd welcome more running, but somehow it's easier for my little brain to cope with!
