So guys really needed to share with you all. After my first sub 30m 5K on Saturday, I had a nice rest day but somehow tricked myself into thinking what is it was a fluke !!!!! 😤
Tonight was my W7R1, after a long day at work got home and thought I need this run to reset after work. Put my gear on, did my warm up exercises and I’m feeling good, pushed the fluke demons to the back of my mind.
App running along side my Adidas tracker app, off I go. 5m warm up done set the tracker going and I’m into this telling myself come on you can do it and it definitely wasn’t a fluke. Michael pops in my ear 5m down and I’m feeling good, found my pace and found my stride I’m off.
It wasn’t until I looked over and caught my partner walking ?? I’m thinking bless her she has slowed right down must be tired, sure enough my kind Adidas tracker lady pops into my ear and says ‘distance 5K’ I’m like no way seriously quick stop the app need to see my time, to my absolute amazement I managed to beat Saturdays time by 23seconds. I’m so happy and proud also slightly stupid thinking my partner had given up. Once I had stopped the tracker checked the C25K app and somehow it had paused 🤬.
That’s the key to having both app running at the same time, back up 😂.
Here are my times and splits over the entire run. People this is proof that anything is possible. 69 days of not smoking previously smoked for 20 years and now look sub 30m twice in 3 days 💪🏻💪🏻🎉🎉🎉

Congratulations on running a sub 30 minute 5k twice in 3 days, many runners have been running for years have never been able to do that so you should be very proud of yourself, well done 😀 🏃🏾
Thanks AlMorr, it wasn’t easy but I just felt I had it there kept telling myself you got this, you have come this far already what’s a little further 🥵.
I am proud and again it’s all thanks to the support and kind words along with the inspirational people I have met on my journey.
I have said it before and I will say it again, you guys are all great, words can’t describe how much it means. 👍🏻💪🏻
Cheers jools, loving the support and your right I was in the zone just felt I had it in me to push that little harder.
The app is great, the support is immense. I feel lucky to have a huge group of people on the same journey that are full of support and kind words. Thank you so much. ☺️👍🏻💪🏻
Thanks for the support. Can I ask what app is it ?? I have searched in the App Store and there are lots, Can you or anyone share a picture of the app logo so I know which one to download. Would be much appreciated.
