Gym returns 25th July!!

So since the lockdown from that dark place started, I had no choice but to take my training on the paths roads grass outdoors in other words lol.

Now with the re-opening πŸ™Œ of the gym I'm considering going back indoors, but will mix it up on the Saturdays when Park Run days starts again.

The question is do I really want to go back indoors πŸ€” its not the cost, its more of being enclosed and potential getting drawn into other activities and getting addicted to the Gym.

My strong will power will overcome it, but I will miss the out doors, the πŸ• chasing thing has made my choice easier πŸ˜†, I'm a dog lover but when some owners think the park belongs to them and release the dogs, i get a bit concerned 😟, as the park rules clearly says all dogs πŸ• must be on a lead, i did see a cat on a lead once but that's a different story .

Anyone else in this dilemma outdoors or indoors πŸ€”

I'm enjoying my outdoor exercise too much at the minute. I have frozen my gym membership for the next month to se how things settle. My gym has changed the opening hours at present so may be busy in the times that I usually get to go. I will keep an eye out for how busy it is before unfreezing the membership. I'm also still unable to go to my regular yoga classes which look like they will not be restarting until September.

Good luck with going back indoors to the gym.

Its a shame you had the incident with the dog but it won't always be like that.

If you were asking me directly I would say , stay with outdoors running. It must be so much better than indoorsπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Never been to the gym in my life but am missing the pool like mad.

But I think I might just stick to the running outdoors for the time being

I've never been one for the gym and I love exploring new outdoor routes, but I confess running in winter (particularly when the evenings are dark!) may be a bit more of a struggle than in summer.

I used to run on treadmills..... I could just about pull the odd 5k on them and I love the gym but I must say since battling my inner demons and finally learning to run outdoors with hills and weather πŸ˜‚ I can’t imagine getting the same sense of achievement as I do outside.... getting up a hill or battling through a thunderstorm for instance....
