After my great start on Tuesday to W3 I had to cancel my planned run on Thursday, I hurt my back for no explained reason. I was actually disappointed, I cant believe I'm saying that, but I was so pleased with myself on how I started W3 I wanted to continue.
Rested for a few days and felt fine this morning so decided to try R2. And I did it πͺ not fast, not pretty but I did it. No stopping, not even willing it to finish, I just did it, plain and simple π
I cant believe how differently I'm feeling about this program now, positive mind set makes such a difference. I'm going through quite a down time at present, finding life hard, lockdown hasnt helped but this program is something that's personal and positive in my life and something I'm in control of and that seems to be doing something for me, so I'm sticking with it. I just hope I'm able to cope when a negative run happens. But for now, happy weekend π

So chuffed for you that this is a huge positive in your life! ππππ
Another run in the bag! Well done!
My back was a bit niggly yesterday too but Iβve learned resting for more days doesnβt make it feel better and running after taking 1 days rest doesnβt make it feel any worse... it just comes and goes and I work round it!
You will find what works for you but Iβm so proud of you for sticking with it!
You must be chuffed too πππ
Oh and re a negative run ... you will cope just fine cos we are all here to pick you up and let you know that everyone has them...
I dont normally suffer with my back, it felt as though someone had punched me in the back, when I breathed in it was soooooo painful so knew I couldn't run, weird it went as quick as it came, thank goodness
