Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K, to run 35 minutes for a 5K is very good.

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked July C25K graduation home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated 🎓 🏃🏾 👍

It won't be long before you can run a sub 35 minute 5K 🏃🏾 👍.

Well done! I’m starting my first run tomorrow and your post is giving me the motivation to get out there so thank you!

Thanks, The hardest part is starting, also because of my age, i always had at least 2 days rest

between Jogs, which worked well for me as i never failed a run. good luck and go for it.

That’s interesting and helpful. I’m 68 and finding I need more than 1 days rest not helped by squeezing in a walk of 6km😬😊

Glad to help Ruby, I just thought as we get older we need more time to recover.

It worked for me, don't over do it with the walking as well :)

You are right about it being hard starting! I didn’t start until last night but I did it and really enjoyed it! I will take your advice about the rest days too. Thanks x
