A note to encourage anyone who thinks they can't do it. At 63, never run before, started C25K, did it no problem. I like running. I don't know exactly how far I run, but I like running. 30 minutes 3 times a week now, and feeling well. I started Feb 2017 and plan to keep going indefinitely.
C25K at 63: A note to encourage anyone who... - Couch to 5K
C25K at 63
Good for you! Did you complete c25k, seeing as you are running 30 mins three times a week? If so, go and nab your graduate badge .
That's great news and such an important topic to share. It is so important that enjoyment comes first, I'm the worlds worst getting stuck on my pace and distance that takes the fun out if it. Thank you for the reminder. You keep on going girl! ππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ.
63 - it's the new 43! Well done . I'm 61 and feel so smug when out running. Keep it up - it can only do you good!!
That's amazing! π Well done ππ» I started in Feb too, I'm 45 and struggled at first but now in week 7 and love it. Are you going to take part in any 5k's?
Well done you! It's good to hear from others of our generation, I will be 60 next month and like you have never run before, if we can do it so can anyone.
Obviously a natural! Well done. I like the "did it no problem", sounds as if you just rattled it off in a couple of weeks!
That's great encouragement for anyone to run at any age. I'm only 55 and looking forward to all the running years ahead
Brilliant post Beth, lovely to hear your success story
Love it π Short, sharp and to the point. Keel up the good work πππ
