Hi I am doing this run tomorrow I feel nervous about it. But have managed all runs this week not easily but I could do them with some energy left. I have downloaded map my runs is this a good app to use? As this is all new to me. Any tips for run tomorrow?

Yes it’s fine to use. Lots of people use Strava though. Start them off when you start the run part. I wouldn’t including the walk part or you won’t get an accurate measure of how far you’re running.

It’s normal to be nervous. That’s why you feel so good at the end. You’ll be fine 🤗

I’ve used map my run and it seemed fine! Use it and see how you get on. Now I have a sports watch and upload to Strava. I like gadgets and apps 😀

Of course it’s normal to feel apprehensive about a run. But remember to trust the program, it’s got you here and prepared you for the longer runs. Tell yourself you can do it! Just remember to take it slowly! Slow right down, it’s a slow jog, even a very slow jog. Listen to some music that you love. Good luck! 🏃‍♀️👍

Relax... these runs are perfect for the slow and steady, mantra. The newly forming running legs know what to do, so let them find their happy pace. Always try tp keep that, finishing with something left in the tank, feeling too.

Map my Run is used by a few folk, as is Strava also:)

i’m in the same position! quite worried about my next run (w6r3). i’ve gotten this far even when i couldnt before so i’m just trying to trust myself. i use runkeeper for my runs because it can track my cycling when i do that too. good luck!!
